HOWARD LASK

Howard is a strategic technology advisor with over 25 years’ experience leading IT and finance teams at class-leading organizations. He has been an advisor for Blackstone's Real Estate group since 2018, leading technology and process optimizations for real estate portfolio companies. Based in the UK, Howard has worked with both European advisory clients such as Sage Homes, Hembla, Leaf Living and more recently IQ Student Accommodation, as well as international clients including April Housing, Nucleus Office Parks and Westlink. 

As a qualified Chartered Accountant Howard can provide a unique combination of IT and financial skills.  He has worked with portfolio companies across a range of real estate sectors including social and affordable housing, retail, office, commercial, student accommodation and warehouse logistics. Projects have included delivery of strategic IT roadmaps, design of optimized target state architecture, selection and deployment of vendor solutions.

Prior to working with DJR, Howard was CIO at Coller Capital, a leading Private Equity Secondaries fund, for over 10 years and before that held senior financial positions at JP Morgan and Barclays Bank.
